A Gallery Of Multiple Monitors In Action

I'm a big multiple monitor fan, and I've covered my own setup in the My Multimonitor Setup: Three Screens For One Computer post here on Daggle. Today, I came across an awesome gallery of other multiple monitors in action.

Ultramon hosts the gallery here. I just added my own setup, as you'll find here. You can then easily work your way back through many of the other entries. Check out:

Nice -- a widescreen in the middle as I was originally thinking of doing and still might do!

Four screens -- one projected above the other three!!!!

Five screens!!!!!

Six screens!!!!!!

Seven screens!!!!!!!

The ones above I got by working backwards from the newest entry to the oldest. You can also sort by number of monitors, in descending order. Most monitors? Twelve. Here's one example of that:

Here's a nine monitor arrangement with a big projection over the others (with Sky as well).

It makes me think how easy it would be to mount a projector on the wall behind me and beam something above my existing three screens. Why? Just the coolness factor! Or like with the example above, a handy way to monitor TV without taking up a working monitor. Perhaps I might try it as a way to use my photos as virtual wallpaper.

Those are terrific -- but I wanted to thank you for your initial mention of UltraMon. I recently bought a Dell 30" browser to accompany a 19" CRT, and found that the main taskbar held all the open program buttons -- very non-intuitive (not to mention a little too busy for my tastes). UltraMon saved the day. Thanks.
