It's The Eurovision Time Again Someday, I'll do a big long post about one of the real joys of living in Britain -- seeing the annual Eurovision song contest on television. It is happening as I type. It is one of the worse things you'll ever see, awful songs from contestants representing countries from all over Europe. For the UK audience, the entire event is gently mocked by presenter Terry Wogan, which is the main point to watch. The saddest thing? As the concept of what countries are considered part of Europe continues to expand, a part of me keeps wanting the US to have an awful song to represent the country as well :)
