I Know The Google Founders & These Ain’t Them

This one’s for David Krane — promised him I’d finally get this posted. Remember that business about Microsoft wanting to buy Yahoo? It made the news here in the UK, Sky News. Watching the news that night (after a long day of writing about the story myself), I about spit out my Diet Coke when the clip below talked about Google’s owners and zoomed in on them playing on a computer game:

Only problem is, those aren’t the rich owners (which I took to mean the founders). That’s corporate communications maestro David Krane in the foreground. And I’m pretty sure that’s another former marcom guru, Nate Tyler. And that’s a damn old clip, if so.

Thinking of dropping your link spam? Consider this. Seriously, STOP & READ. The guy who runs Google's spam fighting team? I know him pretty well. In fact, it's sort of a joke between us to see what's the latest absurd link drop I can share. So if you want your site to be a poster child on his idiots wall -- and probably to encounter a Google penalty -- go ahead, drop your link. It's nofollow anyway, plus I do have built-in spam fighting and what gets past that usually gets nabbed in a few minutes to a few hours. So you got to ask yourself. Are you feeling lucky?
