Leaving SEW & SES might be a bummer, but so was losing Pluto. I’d read earlier this month that my favorite planet was up for demotion. But then I heard over the long holiday weekend here in the UK that it had planet status taken away. It’s terrible. Among other things, one of the ways I learned to remember the planets decades ago from sci-fi dean Robert Heinlein’s Have Space Suit — Will Travel no longer works.
I’m with this article, What did Pluto ever do to those science guys? Pluto should have been left alone. Who cares if there are potentially tens of other dwarf planets that might be found bigger than it. You don’t call something a planet for nearly a century and then change your mind. Make an exception! I’m ready to get one of these “Pluto IS A Planet” t-shirts I’ve read about, in a story about how Pluto got demoted (I found some here). First we lose an entire week in the 1700s, now an entire planet!

Well… now that I registered for TypeKey…
Just wanted to let you know that I started a petition on my personal blog to Reinstate Pluto!

OK. This made me laugh. Hard. Explosively loud laugh that scared the dog. I could hear you saying this on webmaster radio in your best radio voice. It tickled me, and I really needed to laugh.
Thank you.

Poor little Pluto.
So let’s fight the power!
Just sitting there all lonely not bothering anyone and out of the blue gets a shot to the kidneys.
Well I’ve always been one to root for the underdog (GO MSN !!!)
If enough of us just keep calling it a planet then it is. (does anyone know someone over at Britannica?)
My two cents on the topic:
Save Pluto!
Best of luck with your future endeavours, Danny.
You can just add the other found “thingies”…y settle for 9 planets and remove Pluto? Save Pluto!
